Our story
It started in the field, where you see risk up close.
More than two decades ago, two friends and UNET graduates met by chance on a bus heading to Guasdualito, in Venezuela's oil-producing Alto Apure. They were two young engineers on their way to jobs in the oil industry, and that ride became their first conversation about protecting lives and controlling risk.
Fate reunited them in Caracas, studying a graduate program in Industrial Safety, both now part of PDVSA. Then their paths split: one founded his own consulting and process-safety firm; the other grew for fourteen years inside a refinery, among major-event investigations, fires, spills, audits and critical operations.
Later, in Texas, that same professional added field work in vapor recovery units (VRU) and H₂S environments, alongside international credentials CCPS, NEBOSH and H₂S instructor training under ANSI/ASSP Z390.1. From a distance, the two careers came together again, and Global Safety Solutions was born: a promise made in their youth turned into an organization with purpose.

Global Safety Solutions has been operating for 3 years, but the experience you see here does not belong to the brand. It belongs to our founders and instructors, built over entire careers on the plant floor. These are the milestones of those people and of the company they created.

Graduate studies and PDVSA
Fate brings them together again in Caracas, studying a graduate program in Industrial Safety, now both part of PDVSA. Safety stops being a concern and becomes a calling.
